The next season of professional struggles in League of Legends will not start until January next year, however, this does not mean that by that time we will not see our favorite players in action. All thanks to the ongoing All-Star Las Vegas 2019, which is attended by a total of three Poles – representing G2 Esports Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski and Jakub “Lothar” Szygulski, as well as the popular commentator and streamer, Damian “Nervarien” Ziaja.

Last night we had the opportunity to watch the first clashes in individual disciplines. At the beginning of the games we had the pleasure to watch the struggle in the Ultra Rapid Fire mode or simply URF, in which the red formation, which Kim Kim Doinb Tae-sang from FunPlus Phoenix led in the end, was better. And since we’re at the Summoner’s Rift games, the first opportunity to see how the pros are doing in the pre-season patch was the North American match against Europe, represented by both Jankos and Nervarien. Ultimately, the team with two Poles in the composition turned out to be better than the representatives of the region from behind big water.

As for the struggles in one-on-one mode, which is probably the only format for All-Star taken fully seriously by professionals, we did not see many surprises in the first round of the ladder. The only Pole in the group, i.e.Jankos, easily eliminated Joaquín José “Plugo” Pérez, representing the Latin American league, thanks to which in the next stage of the struggle he will face the jungle FunPlus Phoenix, Gao “Tian” Tian-Liang. If Jankowski wins the world champion, there is a good chance that he will compete with Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok in the quarter-finals.

Tonight, there will be another dose of emotions associated with All-Star 2019. This time, professionals and influencers will face in Tandem mode, in which one player will operate the keyboard, while the other will take over the mouse, and we will also see China’s duel with Korea, or also a skirmish in Assasins Mode. In addition, another two rounds of the one-on-one tournament will be played, as well as matches of charity games in Teamfight Tactics.
