The adventure of Valdemar “valde” Bjørn from North is over. The 24-year-old who has spent the last two months on the bench of his home formation has been transferred, but the name of his future team has not yet been revealed. However, if you believe the rumors, the Danish player is soon to play alongside such players as Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen or Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt under the wings of the OG CS entering the stage.
valde came to North in August 2017 straight from another Danish team, Heroic. Undoubtedly, as the representative of this well-known organization in Scandinavia, Bjørn made the greatest progress. With his former friends, Denmark played at three Majors, but each time they were not extremely memorable performances. On the other hand, a player from Northern Europe reached for the triumph at DreamHack Masters Stockholm in 2018 and took home the cup three times for winning the DreamHack Open.
– Hello everyone. As you probably know, it’s time for me to try something new and take a new path in my career. I felt it was a good decision, but of course it also involves mixed feelings when you leave behind something that has been a huge part of your life for over two years. During my stay in North, I played 35 tournaments and raised four cups. All this played an important role in generating the most memorable moments that I experienced in my life – commented on the movement itself.
In the current situation, the North composition is as follows:
- Philip “aizy” Aistrup
- Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye
- Nicklas “gade” Gade
- Jakob “JUGi” Hansen
- René “cajunb” Borg
- Torbjørn “mithR” Nyborg – coach
