The transfer carousel in the League of Legends world admittedly slowed down a bit, but this does not mean that all organizations have already reached their squads for the 2020 season. Slightly delayed in terms of completing their starting five seems Dignitas, which not long ago was re-admitted LoL Championship Series franchise, buying and taking over formerly Clutch Gaming. The team belonging to the Philadelphia 76ers announced only the third representative for the next season, which was Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black.
The first rumors about the transfer of Aphromoo to Dignitas appeared the day before yesterday, however, before we had not heard any information about its future. Black said goodbye to 100 Thieves at the end of November this year, because the organization’s leaders decided to bet on the younger and less experienced William “Stunt” Chen, who until recently was a player in the Thieves Academy. It is not surprising, however, the decisions of the staff of the 100 Thieves, after all, the last season in the performance of the team was not even average, because it was twice outside the zone rewarded with promotion to play-offs, finishing the spring and summer split in tenth and eighth respectively.
Despite the setbacks in 2019, Aphromoo managed to find a new home for itself at the highest level of North America. Dignitas will definitely be able to provide him with good conditions, and if the rumors about the formation’s potential are confirmed, it will definitely be a team capable of fighting for the highest positions in LCS. At the moment, confirmed representatives of the DIG for the 2020 season are Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon and former botlaner TSM Academy – Johnson “Johnsun” Nguyen. The above three are to be joined by Jonathan “Grig” Armao, allegedly known for his TSM performances, and Golden Guardians midlaner, Henrik “Froggen” Hansen .
